Taekwondo Programs

A Track For Every Student

Whether your kid is tying a white belt for the first time or your adult student is stepping back on the mat, every program at Rank Up has its own pace, its own peers, and its own clear path forward.

Beginners · White · Yellow · Orange

Start Here

Every Taekwondo journey begins with three things: how to stand, how to bow, and how to listen. Our beginner classes are built for first-timers, and that's exactly what makes them work. There's nothing to be self-conscious about, because everyone starts at the same line.

Kids ages four and up are welcome. We'll meet your student where they are.

  • Foundational stances, blocks, and basic kicks
  • Listening, focus, and respect drills woven into every class
  • First belt test typically within 8 to 12 weeks of consistent training
  • Two beginner blocks per day Mon to Thu so you can pick the time that works

Sharpen the Foundation

Intermediate students have the basics under their belt. Now the work is precision: cleaner forms, faster combinations, controlled sparring, and the kind of repetition that turns motion into muscle memory.

This is also where leadership starts. Intermediate students help warm up the room, demonstrate technique, and welcome new beginners onto the mat.

  • Pattern (poomsae) refinement and intermediate forms
  • Light controlled sparring with proper gear
  • Board breaking introduced at Green belt
  • Junior leadership opportunities in beginner classes
Advanced · Red · Brown · Conditional

The Black Belt Pathway

Advanced students are training to test. Conditioning gets harder, forms get longer, and sparring sessions ramp up in both intensity and intent. Students learn to coach themselves through fatigue and to perform under pressure. Those are the two skills every black belt is built on.

  • Advanced forms and combinations
  • Sparring strategy, footwork, and timing
  • Multi-board breaking and demonstrations
  • Personal conditioning standards in preparation for black belt testing

Black Belts & Adults

Black Belt Journey

Earning a black belt is the start, not the finish. This track is for students who want to keep refining their craft: black belts working toward higher dans, and adult students who want a serious training environment that respects work, family, and the body they're showing up with.

  • Black belt forms and advanced patterns
  • Adult-friendly conditioning and modifications when needed
  • Sparring with peers at your level
  • Test prep for higher dan rankings
